Primetime exclusive tonight: Joe Vega, a close family friend of missing 6-year-old Isabel Celis' family speaks out regarding the newly released 911 calls and Isabel's dad being barred from seeing his family.

About 200 miles away from where Somer Thompson was last seen alive a sex offender has been arrested. 36-year-old Kenneth Kellam was charged with two counts each of attempting to entice a child for indecent purposes, attempted child molestation, attempted false imprisonment, and attempted aggravated sodomy on two boys in the 4th grade.
Could Kellam be responsible for Somer’s disappearance and death too? Greg Edwards, the Dougherty County District Attorney believes Kellam could be. While there is not a direct evidentiary link between Kellam and Somer Thompson, Edwards says “It’s geographically feasible that he could have a connection to the case, and his M.O. is similar.”
Police are desperately trying to find answers to what happened to 2 ½ year old Masaraha Ross. The little girl was last seen with her mother, 29-year-old Ronkeya Holmes in the Winter Haven area of Central Florida. Police considered the child endangered and are attempting to establish a timeline. What we have so far is spotty information and gaps in the overall case itself.
Here is what we do know.
Police say Masaraha was staying with her biological father in Florida while her mother, Ronkeya Holmes was in GA finishing up school. When school concluded in September, she attempted to pick up her daughter and for some reason, the exchange never happened and Holmes returned to GA. Holmes then returns to FL to get her toddler in mid-October, and this time she is successful. What comes next is anyone’s guess.
Coming to a theater near you, down under: “Tot Mom”, seriously. Our intrepid Nancy Grace not only drew stunned viewers into her coverage of the Casey Anthony case but also an Oscar-Award-winning director who has turned the real life tragedy into a drama that will play out on stage in Sydney, Australia.
Steven Soderbergh, director of films such as “Erin Brockovich”, the “Ocean’s Eleven” franchise movies, and “Traffic”, has written a play about Casey Anthony. The play will center on none other than Nancy Grace and how her "public crusade for justice for little Caylee transformed the case from a tragic story to a 24-hour news spectacle,” according to the Sydney Theater Web site.
While covering the story first hand I knew it would only be a matter of time before someone turned the tragic loss of Caylee Anthony into a movie, play, or book. Even investigators involved with the case would joke early on about who would play who in a movie because the case had so many twists and turns it seemed as if it couldn’t possibly be real.
Cops have pieced together a timeline in the disappearance of Virginia Tech co-ed Morgan Harrington. Harrington vanishes the night of October 17 after getting separated from friends at a Metallica concert in Charlottesville, Virginia. It’s still a mystery why Harrington left the John Paul Jones arena before Metallica takes the stage, but we now know she made several attempts to get back inside for the concert she had been waiting six months to see. But with the arena’s no re-entry rule Harrington denied access.
At about 8:48pm she calls friends to alert them she was stranded outside John Paul Jones arena. Between 9 and 9:20pm Harrington is spotted walking through two adjacent parking lots, University Hall and Lannigan Field. Between 9:20 and 9:30pm the last known sighting of Harrington is on the Copeley Road railroad bridge. But at 9:30pm the trail goes cold. Investigators are asking anyone with information placing Harrington anywhere after 9:30 to please come forward. Cops say no piece of information is too trivial…it could be the key to finding 20 year old Morgan Harrington.
The tragic case of Somer Thompson, the 7-year-old Florida girl whose body was found in a Georgia landfill two days after she disappeared on her way home from school, proves the point that police need the public to get their invaluable job done. In this case, the Clay County Sheriff's Office is reaching out to people who may be associated with Somer's killer and not even know it.
About 2,000 tips have come in but still no arrests made. As he urged the public to provide desperately-needed assistance, Clay County Sheriff Rick Beseler said "Yesterday was about Somer Thompson; today is about the killer."
The sheriff offers a list of behavioral characteristics the public should be aware that a killer could exhibit: missing work or other routine engagements, changes in routine sleep patterns, noted increase in nervousness or irritability, change of vehicles, change of religious beliefs, and altered use of alcohol, drugs or cigarettes.
Elizabeth Olten, 9, allegedly played in teen girl suspect’s home before her murder! Sources say the teen girl suspect is the older sister of the friend Elizabeth Olten was last seen playing with.
We’re learning more about the 15 year old suspect, who is reportedly a girl, accused of killing 9 year old Elizabeth Olten. KMIZ is reporting that the home searched shortly after the body was found is the same home where the teen suspect lives. Yesterday we learned from neighbors that police searched the home of Elizabeth’s friend she was last seen playing with. So what’s the connection? Police won’t say, but some reports, including one from Good Morning America and ABC news, suggest that the teen suspect is actually the big sister of Elizabeth’s friend.
Cops will not reveal how Elizabeth was killed, but are seeking first degree murder charges against the teen. A hearing was held this morning where a juvenile court judge was scheduled to hear arguments as to why the teen suspect should be allowed to go home until the next hearing in the case in November.
