November 9, 2009 Seduction or Abduction?Posted: 08:57 PM ET
A Florida millionaire—Reid Gray– gets a ransom note in his wife’s handwriting, saying kidnappers are demanding $50,000 for her safe return. But investigators aren’t buying her story at any price.

Police say they have 37 discs of recorded evidence – interrogations, secret recordings and phone calls – all supporting the theory that 37 year old Quinn Gray was in on her own “abduction”. Among these recordings was a sex tape that features the kidnapped woman and her alleged abductor. So, with this, authorities believe that Gray’s captor was actually her accomplice and lover. But I’m not sure what is more bizarre, the weak attempt at allegedly staging an abduction or the fact that Gray’s husband stands behind his wife. He claims that she suffers from bipolar disorder and says that because of her mental illness, she became a part of the scheme. He does not “believe for a second” that his wife cooked up a kidnapping story. At one point during the taped evidence, Quinn Gray and her “captor” discuss the idea of either getting the money or just blowing her husband’s head off. When asked in a television interview what his response is to this statement, Reid Gray says it was “hurtful”. You think?! This brings new meaning to the term “for better or for worse.” Posted by: Marlaina Schiavo |
