It takes a real life monster to harm a child. Whomever is responsible for thedisappearance of this harmless child should just return her un harm and maybe god will forgive it.

Monsters walk the streets among us. Some children aren't even safe in their own homes. My thoughts and hopes are focused on this little innocent child, that she is found alive, but I fear the worst. Sooo sad.

crystal phenix   November 13th, 2009 10:17 am ET

i dont know how anybody could harm a child the problem is people not protectin these children for example any person who has ever hurt a child should never be able to walk these streets again they should never deserve a 2nd chance!! they should be put to death or life there is no excuse for it!!!!!!!!

it seems to me that this is some kind if scam and I am wondering if the mother is somehow involved. Why have we not seen the mother all over the the t.v. pleading for the return of her daughter.

News alert, they have arrested the mother for selling that precious
child. I knew something wasn't right about the whole thing. I just
hope and pray they find her alive and well. I hope t hat so called
mother rots in hell.

One more poor child being raised in a home where she isn't protected, nurtured and cared for. I hope Shaniya is found soon and not returned to her family until they are completely investigated.

I don't know what to say about the people in this world anymore. A co-worker sent this to me & I cried tears thinking about how scared this little girl was when all this was happening. How could peopel be so evil, so cruel & mean !!! I just can't understand what is wrong with people in the world. She is in a better place no & she can no longer be hurt by anyone else even the so called mother who is suppose to love & protect her not sell her & have her raped & killed !!! I pray for her as well because she will be greatly punished for this while on this earth & after she leaves her as well. My heart goes out to those who love & know her that will miss her & all of the other parents, relatives, friends & etc of other poor children that have been mistreated & killed. Please stay strong & don't allow the evilness in this world cause you to lose your faith in GOD & the justice that he will handle for you all.

Shaniya may you rest in peace little AngIe. No more pain. You are with the Lord now. My prayers are with Shaniya's loved-ones. After praying for Devine Intervention and crying for a week. I came on this website in order to get Shaniya's last name but found out she is no longer with us – she is in Heaven now. You see, I thought since lust and greed took Shaniya missing – then perhaps, money and love could bring her back. I was going to (and still am) emailing Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Phil and anyone else I can think of that has power, money and/or a love for children. I don't know – Shaniya's reward was only $1,000. Perhaps Victim's of Crime money, donations or some other source could have increased the amount and television is a way to reach-out to others and educate. There are still many other children in harms way and one child hurting, is one too many. My fellow Soldiers – keep fighting for our children. There is power in numbers and there is always hope. If you are or know of any sick minded/evil person that you think would or has hurt a child – do something, please. If you don't know what to do or don't have the strenth – ask someone, please. If we sit-back and do nothing we are also guilty. And why do sick people hurt children? Because they can. Let's be the voice and the strength for those that have none. Let's report and put away anyone that would hurt our children. If you need help, get it today! Before you hurt a child! Perhaps, you are hurting too. But please don't take it out on someone else. God see's everything and perhaps, you think you are getting away with something but you are not. We all have someone to answer to. I love you Nancy Grace. Keep doing what you do. I've never met you Shaniya but I love you and wish you would have been my daughter. I will see you again one day. I pray for you, Shaniya's Father. She is now with our Father in Heaven but I can't even imagine how heavy your heart is. God bless and keep everyone out of harms way, but we also have to do our part. May your heart's be lightened. Amen
