Primetime exclusive tonight: Joe Vega, a close family friend of missing 6-year-old Isabel Celis' family speaks out regarding the newly released 911 calls and Isabel's dad being barred from seeing his family.
Putnam investigators launched an intensive ground search yesterday in connection with the Haleigh Cummings case. Cadaver dogs and divers were all part of the scene less than 5 miles from the home where the 5-year-old went missing from her father's trailer. This is the most extensive search conducted since the child disappeared 15 months ago.
After much speculation, Sherriff Jeff Hardy held a press conference to address some media questions, but did not release many details, citing the ongoing investigation.
However, we spoke to many sources close to the case and were told that information obtained during a polygraph exam is what led the police to this latest search. Even though Putnam County officials would not confirm where the tip came from, an attorney for Tommy Croslin stated that today's activities were prompted by information provided by his client.
There were rumblings about the infamous Croslin family "cousin Joe" and whether or not he was quickly becoming a person of interest. Thus far, no arrest warrant has been served for the TN family member who we know was in Satsuma at the time Haleigh disappeared. He has maintained his innocence.
Haleigh’s family members were all called to Putnam County's Sherriff's office and escorted back to their cars after the private meeting took place this afternoon. Misty Croslin was taken from her jail cell to an undisclosed location and interviewed by investigators.
Authorities have pulled something out of the St. Johns River, but won't say if these items are related to the case. We are told that the search will continue into tomorrow as we await what all of this could mean and wonder if family members will finally have closure in this case.

I thought all along that it was Joe Croslin
i have been watching the news from jacksonville and they are saying that the blue and white cooler looking thing that they took at of the water was part of there own dive stuff. and there is also a former fbi guy on there news saying that he thinks there is more then one person in on all of this.
I don't believe "cousin Joe" did it. I'm more likely to believe that Joe Pytko(Pitko) named in Nay Nay's letter is a more likely involved. He has a extensive police record including sexual assault. He would be familiar with the area. It isn't that simple, I believe Misty is involved.
I am so sad for Haleigh..and her paternal Grandmother..she has been through Hell since this Baby went missing..I feel compassion for the parents as well..unfortunately we pay for our mistakes but not in this way, I am sure her Mother has paid and paid in her mind as has Ron. I pray this Little Baby Girl is found immediately and that the Misty Croslin starts talking..She DOES KNOW WHAT HAPPEND TO HALEIGH as do the rest of the Croslins Clan..Come home soon Haleigh..You are in my heart and prayers.
Why am I thinking I would be surprised if they find her there? Don't know. But I am. Same as why now all the sudden interest in cousin Joe from Tn when he was questioned fifteen months ago and not considered a person of interest? If brother Tommy Croslin is suddenly pointing the finger at cousin Joe, why didn't he do it long ago? He had plenty of time, right? If it's all that simple, why not? Fear? Nah.... Aren't they all safe in jail where cousin Joe wouldn't be able to get to any of them? So why not speak out before now?
Wasn't it brother Tommy who broke into his neighbor's home and took a gun? But now cousin Joe is being accused of being angry that he wasn't able to take a gun from Ronald Cummins the night little Haleigh went missing? Seems to me like Tommy is the one with all the interest in guns.
But on the other hand, I wonder about the whole lot of 'em in Satsuma!
I know all of the Croslin's and I think it is appauling that they all knew Haleigh was in that cooler from day1. I know them all personally and it is disgusting that none of them came forward 14 months ago, especially the one that has 3 kids and one of them is girl. They should all hang for what they have done. I feel so sorry for the 3 children that have been brought into this situation. I know for a fact that Haleigh is in that cooler. What kind of people are they that they can go to sleep every night?

Lots of us have followed this case from day one on Nancy Grace, at this point are hoping for closure for this family. Misty Croslin, Tommy, and cousin Joe are guilty in our opinion! But we may know for sure soon. Hope they nail them to the stake for what they've done!

Hi nancy, how are you today? I am writing in regards to the Haleigh Cummings story. During the jailhouse conversations that Misty Crosslin had with he father, her father had made comment to Misty about telling the police the truth about the story so that we could bring Haleigh home and she replied that the only one that could bring little Haleigh home is "GOD"! Nancy in my mind when a comment such as that is made, that only means one thing to me and that is that the little girl is DEAD. In your opinion what would that remark mean to you?

I have watched this story since last year and I believed from the beginning that perhaps Haleigh was in her bed and walked out and witnessed Misty on the couch with someone and because she would be old enough to say something to her father about who was there and what Misty was doing .... the male took her and made sure she would never reveal what happened.
Misty and others involved knew that Ron had a temper and perhaps the person was someone he did not like and it was an explosive situation so everyone just decided to say NOTHING .
When the young brother said he saw someone and heard someone walking in noisy shoes... and saw the couch bouncing.... seems to fit into that story also. A young person heard noises and saw movement but did not understand ..
Anyway... that is what I think happened and would be a reasonable explanation as to why they would take Haleigh out of the house and get rid of the witness at that time to protect them selves.

I think the child died accidently from an over dose of narcotics the parents were selling and they both tried to hide the death.

I Pray this is not some scam by these people. After all they have held this information now for a very long time. I'd hate for this to be a scam to get out of jail for one of them. If it is true. Then all of them should do the exact same time. Life without parole or the chair. Death sentance for them all involved. No two ways about it.
The whole crowd of drug users/dealers are nuts. Including the Father. Even if he was not there, he provided a home for these children and it seems to me with all the information that has come out that it was not much of a home. More of a place to do drugs and buy drugs. That enviroment only opens up trouble for children and makes them so vunerable to evil.

Hi Nancy, why is it that all these mothers like to lie for. We all know she killed Haleigh. I have also been following this case since it has occured since last January. I just can not believe that she will just not admidt it. Just like with Caylee Anthony..This case has been going on since 2008 and its now 2010, im sure by now there would be all the evidence needed Nancy!!
Was there a reward for information on this case from the beginning? I imagine if there were, one of these drug addicts would have dimed out the other a long time ago.

I agree, I think that little Haleigh was killed by Misty and Joe was a convenient way to get rid of her body....that's why she's failing the poly's. She did it, accidentally or whatever, part of the truth is always in the lies....Joe was just a convenient way to get rid of the body.
I was holding out hope all this time that Haleigh would be found alive. I did not want to believe that anyone could hurt a child. Take her from her home in the middle of the night and KILL. The whole group should be charged with 1st degree murder and put them in a cooler and send them off into the water. An eye for an eye.
The child most likely died of a narcotic overdose on the drugs the parents were selling, so they hid the body.

Misty was 17 when the chld went missing! She is a druggie and has been since (probably) the age of 12-13 ... which means she has a 12-13 aged brain! She and the family are purely drug induced losers!
As a retired Florida detective and former Lt. of the Fl. Game and Fish Commission, that area of the St. John's river contains untold numbers of large alligators that could consume a small dead body in less than an hour. Alligators also carry their prey to another location before consumption. It will be a miracle for divers/investigators to find any part of the body after this length of time. Besides alligators, that river is full of scavengers that eat any fleshy item in the water. If these other smallers scavengers got to the body first, the authorities might find the bones, but probably not if a large alligator devoured it. I think they are pretty sure the body was put in the river, and know who did it. I'm not sure that the death was not an accident or overdose, then in a panic they tried to cover it up by disposing of the body.

What a freakin mess. What is up with Ron havin such a young girlfriend yuck, and to leave her in charge of his only two children. This story is so ridiculous. Poor little Haleigh deserved much better than she had. I wish we could use torture treatments to get people to talk , if they know or are involved they will talk. Barbaric I know but what else can we do to find out what has happened to this poor little girl? I am a Crisitan but I hope to see the guilty fry on this one. She does not dererve a plea deal. I hate to ask this question. What if Haleigh's body was taken away by an alligator and disposed of? St. John's River is very murky. There are alligators all over Florida, especially in murky water.
It has been over a year and the possibility of finding any skeletal remains is remote. Can they still prosecute Misty Croslin on circumstantial evidence?

i don't believe the story of cousin joe taking Haleigh at all..... because...... Tommy and Misty said they were both threatened by Joe at the house. Then, Misty said Tommy left first, then Joe took Haleigh and left. There is no way that i believe a brother would leave his sister there by herself with the 2 kids if Joe was threatening everyone!!! Wouldn't he stay there until Joe leaves to make sure Misty and the kids are ok?? i don't think tommy or joe had anything to do with it.....but tommy is just protecting Misty and throwing the blame on Joe.
I don't know who did what. I do think Misty has withheld information that could help find Haleigh all along. Misty's entire family seem to be troubled people. I hope this letter Misty wrote becomes public soon. It is time for the truth to come out and it should have came out a long time ago. Nancy love your show. Tonite when they were talking about Tommy and Misty knowing of or Tommy being present when "joe" dumped the BODY in the river. This indicates they KNOW Haleigh is dead, and was dead months ago. One could assume that since they knew it was a "body" they knew when and how the child was killed. Isn't this enough admission on their own parts to make them accessories to the murder? Did anyone "grill" Tommy on HOW he knew it was a body that Joe dumped in the River, if in fact, he did?

I watch Nancy Grace almost every night. For 15 months she has been pronouncing Haley's name as Hellie. No one else does on the show, so I just wondered why she does. Sometimes i can t remember her real name when i hear " Hellie" so much. She does the same thing with the name Caley that we have heard so much. Nancy says Kellie. why does she not pronounce the long "a" sound?

Why was she so anxious to do laundry that night? Couldn't that blanket have waited? Surely it was tested for bodily fluids etc.
We all know that Misty did not want to take care of the kids that night. I think Misty gave Haliegh a pill to get her to go to sleep. From what I understand she took meds for her Turnes Sym, so Haliegh would have taken the pill without any fight. They went to bed early, then when Tommy came over to check on them Misty got up and realized that Haleigh was dead. She got Tommy to get rid of Halieghs body. Maybe cousin Joe helped maybe not. I think Ronald knows everything. They are all junkies.... and they all cover for each other.

I remember in the very beginning that it was thought that Haleigh accidently took some of the drugs they were using that night........that is probably what happened, then they dumped her in the river and Misty made up the whole story about being asleep.............

I agree with Diane. I have thought from the beginning that it was Cousin Joe. When Haleigh went missing in Feb 2009, I thought I heard reports of Cousin Joe being a sex offender???? Does anyone remember hearing that?

Why is everyone feeling bad for Ronald? He put his kids in a situation where drugs & guns were all over the place. Ronald has been involved with so many different women ( mostly young girls ). He never put his kids first. Those kids were never protected from the lifestyle their Daddy chose to live.

My thoughts are that with the drugs/pills being in the house and not being obtained legally, that Hailey may have gotten into them and possibly took a lethal dose of something. When Misty discovered this possibility, she called the relatives to help her. And as far as the previous comment of " the couch shaking" maybe someone was attempting to perform CPR or something to revive little Hailey, and could not revive her. They then realized that if paramedics were called that the drugs would be discovered which would create more problems so in order to minimize the chance for getting caught with illegal drugs no one was called, the body was taken away from the house and then the stories began.
In the case of survior producer wife, I think he enlisted the help of an employee of the resort- he had the funds to do that and they need the money, how would he know about the covered sewer drain without someone knowledgeable about the grounds
The various scenario's that could have happen make me sick to my stomach for Haleigh..drug dealers, druggie's? what chance could she have had in life? ZERO..poor Baby..I feel so sad for Patricia neaves. Her heartache must be horrendous, She had her son in prison and her Grandaughter missing for 14 months, I will continue to ptay to our Father for compassion for her and Ron and Her Mother,,we all make serious mistakes in life and I won't jusdge them..This is enough punishment for any parent.

I can not explain how I feel about this. I believe Misty Croslin does not know how to tell the truth. She makes me sick on my stomach. I do think she was involved with another man( cousin,brother?) and was bouching on that sofa as the boy baby suggested. Poor Haleigh had to be purnished beyond hope for this. I somehow believe the dad has more knowledge than he his willing to share. I don't think he was involved but, does know something. I also believe that drugs are playing a big part in this. I have always been suspicious of Tommy. Ronald said he called Tommy to go over to the house to check on Misty. Tommy says he knocked and knocked and no one came to the door. That alone, puts him at the scene during the time of the disappearance.
Let me just say Nancy that you are almost 100% right. I am A friend of the family's and I know all the detail that was told in the meeting with the family. I live in Crescent city right down the road from Satsuma although I can not tell the detail's in what they said in the meeting for fear of getting in trouble.All I can say Misty the drug attic that she is and I know because I have seen her drugged up off of pills.She will no longer be charged on drug possession with intent. now she will be hit with negligent homicide. she only took that deal because it carries a shorter sentence than the drug charges . If you know the Croslins so well and you know for a fact that Haleigh is in a "cooler" then why didnt you go to the cops? If you know facts about this case, then why didnt you go to the cops? This is my opinion, but when people state that they know facts about a case, then you could be just as guilty if you dont come forward with what information that you have about a case. This is such a sad story. Poor Haleigh. Misty needs to be honest with the police and give this child peace. I dont know what goes on in these peoples head, but i am a mother of two beautiful girls and could never and would never hurt them in anyway. Hi Nancy. I really do not understand. Did Tommy Croslin take a lie detector test when this first happened and did he supposedly pass it. The reason I ask is we know that he changed his story once already when he said that he had gone to the mobile home for Ronald to see if Misty was at home and did not get an answer when he knocked, now he admits to being inside the mobile home. How can he keep changing his story and keep passing lie detector tests, also now that there is more specific information and Misty is admitting to people being in the house that night and a knife to her throat, this would probably be the time to give her another lie dector test to see if she could actually pass one.
Ya know, it is all so darn fishy it stinks all the way to Oklahoma! There could be a couple senarios, this is one thought! Maybe Misty was so doped up she really was passed out on the bed and her cousin Joe and brother Tommy were at the trailer and she was all doped up passed out and so were those boys, they had their way with haily and or Joe did or Tommy did, or both, and they took Haliegh outta that trailer... Misty woke up and noticed Haleigh GONE, and assumed Joe and/ or Tommy had her and she was fearful to tell Ron.
and just for the record, I always hear the bathroon comment as to why she would use one further away from her own in her bedroom. Well, I never use my bathroom at night in my room, and always go to another one on the other side of the house, so when O go potty and flush I don't wake anyone up! I do not know WHY, it is just something I have alsys done!

I have a question? Why was Haleigh put in this house hold with her father while he was conducting these activities. Coming from a young mother i would never stand around and watch someone have my child in the same house as these people! Why couldn't Haleighs mother take care of her? What was her issue?

Your theory is very interesting and a made for T.V. movie, however not very realistic. People don't generally kill a child for cheating on a boyfriend. They weren't married, Misty had nothing to gain from this relationship that would be a motive for murder. I believe it's more simpliar than that. Probably an argument over drugs, or I have thought that she may have drugged Haleigh so she could party and accidentely killed her.

Joe did not kill this little girl he only helped his cousin misty get rid of the body.
I knew all along Tommy had something to do with it and the only reason he said he went to the house that night is to give himself a reason to be there if anything ever came out.
If you will listen to this family on the show jail tapes they are all very stupid people who do not care that a little girl is dead because of them all they care about is what misty had for lunch this is unreal.
This goes to show you we as parents and grandparents have to be careful who we bring into our homes Ronlad knew this girl was a doper and he still left her with his children he should be held accountable for this in some way but in all reality he is already paying for this mistake....I hope this is over soon so the little girl can be at peace....
Good afternoon, Nancy. I am commenting on the Haleigh Cummings case. My heart is broken over this little girl- my little girl is right around the same age as Haleigh and I cannot even imagine what her mother and grandparents are going through.
I have been keeping up with this case through your show and it seems that there are so many different "stories" as to what happened and so many facets to this case. The ONLY thing that I am feeling that rings true to me is that whatever DID happen, Misty Croslin knows about it and knows EVERY detail- I have never been a believer in the death penalty- but Misty Croslin has changed my mind on this issue- she deserves the death penalty for the loss of this beautiful little girl!!!
Is the father involved or implecated at all ? What are his thoughts? I was just asking because he has not been mentioned in this blog .And why would he still be involved with this woman after all she has be accussed of .He must of been a little supicious . You would think!!
I would like to know if the St John's River is less than 5 miles from her home, why was this area not searched before now. Every story I have seen in regards to this river has been it is the most exstensive search since she has gone missing.
I agree with the above post that Misty had everything to do with Haleigh's disappearance and ultimately death. She is a mean and manipulative little brat who does whatever she pleases. She doesn't care about anything except herself. Watching her on the phone from the jail asking for money for food from her family members who have none and then asking if they have received their income tax checks yet makes me sick. But more importantly, the comment that she made to her father about her not knowin' nothin' about nothin' and that only God could bring her home again yells guilty and someone has to listen. I hope they find that poor baby and put her to rest. She is already in God's loving arms. I hope that she gets justice here on earth.
What responsible parent takes or sells drugs? That's just an invitation for trouble when you allow that type of behavior around your children. I feel bad for Ron and his family, but he should have known better!

Ok where are you getting the information that Ron Jr saw the couch bouncing? That was NEVER said........what he told people was he saw a man in a black shirt and hat take Haleigh. If you have been watching the story from day one then you would know the correct information.
We all knew Misty did something.....Joe was cleared months ago, I think they are useing him as a scapegoat. Seriously, if Joe took the body then why do Misty and Tommy know where to look.....why wasn't Joe at the lake and not Misty? And really what are the chances they are going to find her.....most of Florida if not all has alligators in the water and I don't even wanna think about that but honestly i dont feel they will find her in there for that reason. If she was in the blue ice chest then we would have known she was found by now...they wouldn't still be looking. If you read the artical then you would see they already said the blue chest belongs to the Dive Team and has some equipment in it. Its just a sad sad case.....and sad thing is because Misty was 17 when all this happened she cant even get the death penilty.....which she clearly deserves. Maybe FL will make an example out of her and let them give her the chair.
Hi Nancy, I love your show and appreiciate you keeping these children in everyones mind. I hope they find Haleigh soon so the family can have sone closure. I beleive that they are getting close to finding her, otherwise Misty and Tommy would not be talking. They had plenty of time before the drug charges to get their stories straight. I don't beleive for one second that cousin Joe had anything to do with it. They decided to point the finger at him to take the focus off them. Its funny to me Tommy said no one came to the door that night. Could it be that he and little sis was together hiding Haleigh's body? He wasn't expecting Ronald to call him so he had to say something. As for the bouncing on the couch, I think we all know what that was, Haleigh saw something and had to be silenced. No one paid any attention to little Jr. when he said he saw a man in black in the house. Scoffed off as a little boy's imagination. I have belived from the very begining that Misty knew and was lying the whole time the search was going on. She simply is not a believeable person and look at her now. It is my opinion she is trying to lay this off on the Tn. cousin. I'm not too sure I believe him, but the police do, so that's all that matters. In my heart, I beleive Misty's dad knew something was up, but couldn't prove anything. Her own dad has been trying to convince her over and over to TELL THE TRUTH , so that says alot about the trust he has in her. I really hope they find something in that water, but I fear a 'gator has taken the body and who knows if any thing will ever be found. I can't think of anything that makes as mad as anyone involved at any level to child abuse. Equally so, are the deals given to these criminals solely to admit their part in the crime. Given the circumstances, age of the victim and vunerability, are judges within the law to refuse to honor any part or all of a plea deal if findings reveal more involement in the crime itself than was admitted to?

I`ve been watching your show ever since I saw the tot mom and what she did to her child.I must say i have seen something in both the tot mom and misty that I haven`t seen in sometime.I saw the whole susan smith story play out all the way to her being put in prison for life,but i remember her lies that she told and her eyes just like susan smith the tot mom and misty did not look directly into the camara and never a tear was shed these women should all in my oppinon should get the death penalty
From the first 911 call...when Misty is talking with the operator....Ron can be heard in the background. He yelled, "How could you let them steal my daughter, bitch?! Nancy, you have played that tape many times. I think a drug dealer was not paid and they (a relative) took Haliegh. I also believe the whole clan knows what happened.

I think Misty was at the dumpster getting rid of Haleigh's body when brother Tommy first pounded on the door that night and that is why she didn't answer. Remember, the cadaver dogs made a hit on the dumpster. Then after Tommy showed up, she told him about the situation, and he, Cousin Joe and Misty moved the body to the St. Johns River. Cousin Joe staged the scene to look like a break in. Just who killed her and why is up for grabs, maybe to keep her quiet, maybe by accident, but Cousin Joe and Misty are in it all the way up to their eyeballs!
My heart goes out to Haleigh's family. To many of our children are being lost this way. Something has to be done about it!
In the picture with haleigh at the beach,is it possible that she was dumped at a beach that , that photo was taken? or possible that she was put at a beach or lake that haleigh liked to go? I hope they find her, this waiting for the family must be extremely difficult , my hearts go out to her mother and father and grandmother. i have no sympathy for the disgraced croslins at all and i agree they should be hanged. In that one interview i saw on your show nancy with joe he was smirking , he had a hard time it seems to not get joy from all this, and i don't think it was the attention. he has no remorse, and is very creepy. GET him off the streets and executed already. And what good is misty getting on the stand she is a pathological liar, not sure that a jury would believe anything she says. thereis absolutly no excuse for this terrible terrible tragedy, on haleigh and ron's family! and another thing that is intresting is why wasn't ronald allowed near the family of misty? I know cuz they are all criminals and have deep secrets that could condemned them all in other investigations.

Conveniently, Misty at first couldn't remember anything because she was so high, but now she can point to an EXACT location at the river? I truly believe Misty was there that night watching the other two Croslin's dump Haleigh in the river.
Misty says she didn't kill Haleigh, but do you think that maybe in her mind, she's telling herself she didn't killer her, but that the drugs she gave her did? Maybe that's how her dillusional mind works. Reminds me of Casey Anthony. She says she didn't kill Caleigh, because in her mind the chloroform killed her.

why was cousin joe in the area last year. i have'nt heard anyone say or i might have missed it. maybe Misty owed for some drugs and she gave that little girl to him. it's not the first time that's been known to happen. i just pray they get some kind of closure.
I believe they all know what happened to little Haleigh. {including Ron} I've watched this case from the beginning and I have to say that Ron & Misty are good at acting. Where was Haleigh on Ron's list of priorities when he was out selling dope to an undercover cop? After listening to Misty's 911 call, it so sounds like she was coached in what to say. I am not saying Ron did anything to his little girl but I think he knows more than he is saying. He is too calm. He is not acting like a father who lost their daughter {IMO}. I am not convienced Joe had anything to do with it. I think Misty's brother, Tommy holds the key as well. He already placed himself at the house that night. I hope there is closure for this little girl soon.
I was watching the show when they had a new lead i was wondering if the van Misty was describing in her letter to her sister in law was it ever processed for Halieghs dna since cousin "joe" had excess to a van the night Haliegh went missing. And if the blankets she was suppose to be washing why wash at that time of night if there wasnt something on those blankets she didnt want Ron to see? I hope Halieghs found soon and the person or persons rot in jail for what they put Haliegh through.
Nancy: I think Hailey's death was an accident–probably she consumed some pills she found. I don't know why you always side with Ronald–in my opinion he should have never had custody in the first place since he is involved in the drug trade and probably takes drugs himself. The children would have been much better off with their natural mother. Anyway, I hope it is over soon because I am sick of the same videos night after night.
Misty's story about Joe doesn't make sense. She claimed that Joe held a knife to her throat and said he would kill her family if she told that he took Haleigh. Then in her jail cell she said that she would talk but 2 people her family knew would be hurt by what she had to say. Well if Joe threatened to kill her and her family what would she care if he got hurt by her talking. One more thing, how would she know if Joe threw Haleigh's body in the river, if he threatened her that night. Did he come back and tell her after the fact? I don't think so. Another point is Misty's brother supposedly went to the house that night after Ronald had called and asked him to. He said no one was home. Did he call Ronald back and state that and if he did how much time had elasped between phone calls? If he found Joe there it would have been quite a while in between phone calls. There are so many questions that just don't add up and that have not been answered.

I thought the cooler was actually part of the search equipment. But I see that a comment was posted from Angela stating that he knows for a fact that little Haleigh was in that cooler. Are the police just keeping it quite? I wonder if they took Misty to the river to get her reaction? And I am concerned about the interview that you did with Ron a while back. When you asked him if he noticed a brick in the back yard he said no, "I never go back there. The video of the home showed trash cans in the back, I can't believe that he never took the trash out, mowed the lawn or played with the kids back there. Also in all the different pics of Haliegh she had some sort of bruising in most of them? We don't even have proof that she was alive when he left for work. I am wondering if a deug deal went very wrong, and someone took haleigh, or if maybe she was abused and died. That could explain why Ron called home so many times that night. Perhaps they are all involved.

I think all 3 of them were involved. That Croslin family reminds me of trailer trash. They all take up for each other and no one has enough guts to come forward with what they know. I also think that they should take Casey Anthony out of her cell and keep her handcuffed and bring her to where they found Caylee. Maybe she would start talking too. They should think about doing that when it gets close to her trial date.

Hi Nancy, my 9 year old daughter Nicole wants to ask you some questions about the Haleigh Cummings case. Here is what Nicole wants to know: "Why was the cousin trying to steal a gun? What was he going to do with the gun? How did he change his mind from stealing a gun to deciding to steal Haleigh?"
I think what she's wondering is how the cousin Joe made the jump from wanting to steal a gun to wanting to abduct and murder a little girl, that's a big change of plans isn't it? Could Misty and Tommy be making this up to save their own skins?

I have also watched this story since the beginning and i have to say if i got as emotional as i did when they started looking i cant even imagine what the grandmother feels like. of course Misty is in on this...she had known since the beginning. and she is no scardey cat...it is all about drugs and maybe she was too out of it to realize what happened that night...but she remembered the next day...all this hurt could have been avoided and poor little haleigh would still be here.if not for drugs and possibly a sexual encounter...rape or otherwise.
I have been following this story from day one. The little brother of Haleigh saw someone take his sister – according to the news stories if I remember correctly. Children usually don't lie. No one has mentioned the little brother lately and I believe he may be able to help if someone could question him. Also, in the case of a missing child, the laws should be changed so that the suspect or person of interest could be either hypnotized or given the truth serum. No matter what it takes – get to the truth.
The Lord speaks about people with a 'harden heart' – anybody that can stand by and allow ANYTHING to happen to a child, I believe, has that 'hardend heart'. A child, an animal or an elderly person cannot defend theirself ; therefore, they need protection. And who knows what the sweetie may have been enduring at that trailer, possibly even the night she went missing. I shudder. As it looks right now, Haleigh is in a safe place being watched over. I agree with Mary Owens. I believe little Haleigh saw Misty doing something or Misty wanted Haleigh to go to sleep (just like tot mom) so she could have someone over and do drugs and party, so she gave Haleigh some drugs to put her to sleep but she over dosed her and killed her. She did not call 911 because if Ron found out she hurt his little girl he would have kicked her out and would not have married her. The look on Misty face when she is showing her engagment ring shows she only cares about herself and her relationship with Ron. She even stated in jail to her mom that she still loves Ron. There is no way she is going to let Ron find our she killed Haleigh.

Judith Jackson~ I absolutely agree. That comment indicates she knew that baby girl passed on. Now to get the truth about it seems grim. I believe she has stories, but am afraid we will never know the truth about baby Haliegh. I look at my baby who will be 5 this year.. and I cringe.
Mary Owens~ I think many many many of the viewers suspect this scenario. I would like to add to that in respect to this scenario.. when a young girl on drugs wants them, and they are not financially well off to support their habit; they may do these sort of favors in exchange for drugs. Its a possibility.
I personally think Joe wanted the gun, but that may be all he knows about in this situation. I am sure lots of chaotic things went on in that environment. It may be completely unrelated to the child. But again, maybe he is involved. Who knows?
If Misty was messing around with some guy (or dealer) while Ron was working, the guy may have had nothing to do with it and doesn't speak up because is supporting himself as a dealer. She may have single handedly handled Haleigh and called her brother, (and also Joe?) to help her hide the body.

I know all of the Croslin's and I think it is appauling that they all knew Haleigh was in that cooler from day1. I know them all personally and it is disgusting that none of them came forward 14 months ago, especially the one that has 3 kids and one of them is girl. They should all hang for what they have done. Don't get me wrong i think Misty knows exactly what they did with haleigh, i think it was related to that weekend bender. then ron turns around marries her. divorces her. then gets himself busted with her (and they sounded like a couple to me baby this, baby that) he's still negligent for leaving them in misty's care and going off to work knowing the kinds of people they were attracting.

I remember a phone conversation Misty was having with her family and Grandma was in the background making comments and......she sounded like she was suspicious of them. Good for Grandma!! What I'd like to see happen is; put her in general population and let the women at her. Hi Nancy, how are you and the twins doing, good I hope!! I have been watching thiscase for over a year, and from the beginning I have felt that Misty was behind Haleigh's disapperance. If they can prove this what kind of punishment could the three people involved receive. No punishement would be sufficient for what they did to that baby, but they deserve something harsh.
Im not believing that Joe Overstreet killed Haleigh. As a matter of fact I believe that Haleigh was dead when Joe and Tommy arrived. And in fact help to dispose of the body. Because why would Misty sit back and watch her cousin kill Haleigh. I believe Misty killed her.
I had a horrible feeling from when I first heard of this case that Heleigh wasn't going to be found alive. And I knew all along as well as every other person that heard Misty talk knew she was lying about what happened that night. I agree with you that she was most likely under the influnce of drugs when Heleigh was taken and I'm sure she knows exactly what happened to her and who did it. I don't understand why they never talked more to 'cousin joe' and how any interveiw could take less then a day unless they know now who exactly did it and they're just trying to find her body to back it up. And why if this river was so close to the trailer they never had the sence of mind to check it earlier. Or even more importantly who are they getting their information from. I really don't see how Misty could keep up a lie for over a year now and then all of a sudden wake up one morning and tell the truth. I just don't see why the police jumped all over this and beleived her unless they have evidence they aren't sharing with the public to back this up or they cut a really good deal with her to solve this case. All I know is Misty has had a lot of time to herself to figure out some kind of story and I hope for little Heleighs familes sake that this just turns into another dead end and they can finaly get some closure to this heartbreaking tragedy.
I pray for Haleigh's soul and that she rests in peace. So many children are victims of abuse and violence that it sickens me. I know that beautiful Haleigh is in a beautiful place and receiving all the love that she deserves. God will take care of all of those on earth responsible for her death. No one should ever have to suffer and be subject to a dysfunctional family.

I have thought all along that Misty was the main player in this awful situation.She has been a fake all along,just like Susan Smith. I think she was jealous of Haleigh and was glad to be rid of her. Whatever happened, Misty has known all along and put Haleighs family through Hell and has torn into the hearts of all of us who have been following this tragedy.Death sentence would be too good for Misty. as much as she whines about how bad jail is, let her stay there the rest of her life!!
The only one I feel sorry for in the Haleigh Cummings case is Theresa Neves, the child's paternal grandmother. While Ronald seems to be devastated, he is the one who left his child in the care of a doped up irresponsible teenager. The judge who gave him custody should be arrested too for giving custody to a prescription drug abuser, Ronald. Haleigh's mother said right away that she thought drugs were involved and maybe they were. Obviously she knew they were both into drugs. Misty, her brother, and her cousin all look like a bunch of doped up, droopy eyed , red nosed drug addicts. Those people build a tolerance to whatever they are taking and will usually function normally, so I'm sure they remember what happened. I was an RN in an ER for 15 ys and saw these drug abusing, drug seeking people all the time.

I live here in Satsuma Florida. I have fished these waters for fourteen years. There are a lot of creatures that live in these waters that have probably destroyed and distributed any evidence that might be in those waters around that dock in Shell Harbour. Catfish, crabs, eels, Blue Gill fish, etc... This is in addition to the alligators of all sizes that reside around this area. I hope and pray that they will find at least one bone that belonged to Haleigh, IF she was dumped off that dock. I hope that God will have mercy on the Soul or Souls of the person or persons who did harm to this little child. Because I don't have it in me to forgive them.
I have watched this case from the beginning and hope that closure for the child and family is close. Is it possible that a boat was taken from the dock to the Cummings home and used to transport the child back to the dock and then thrown in the water. If so have they checked all the boats that dock there. I doubt if they had a boat of their own since no one seems to have two nickles to rub together.
well i for one think the whole lot of them were in on it .and whatever possessed ronald to marry mysty? maybe she died that weekend when he wasnt at work and they kept quiet till he could go to work and have an aliby. he seemed surprized that a spouse could testify against there mate in florida. he probably thought man i married her for nothing. he sure got rid of her quick enough.

anyway,my thought is that little haleigh was dead long before her father got home,and that misty herself killed her,whether it was accidental or she meant to do it. i believe she and ronald were arguing all day that day.i personally believe she killed that baby,and thatis why 911 wasn't called before ronald got home from work.i absolutely do not believe her father ,ronald, had a damn thing to do with it!no matter what he has done with drug mess,i believe he was and is a decent father. why would she wash blankets that night,that late.i find it hard to believe she didn't have a spare blanket for her.i think she washed it to get rid of evidence.i also think she definitley had alot of help. thank you,kay

I pray justice will be done for this horrible crime. I also pray that Haleigh's father finds comfort and strength in God and turns lhis life around. Drug and alcohol is not his answer.

I just turned 18 and I have been watching this story since the day the news broke that Haleigh was missing and have prayed for this beautiful little girl since! Mary Owens, I can see where you get that. Me personally, I never thought of that scenario but it does make sense to me... When I was about 7 years old and my little sister was 5 my dad had a girlfriend that he had been with for about 1 year. One day my sister and I were outside playing with our friends while my dad was at work and seen my dad's girlfriend with another guy kissing on the hood of his car and she saw us so she took us both inside and locked us in the closet in our room then would let us out right before my dad would get home. Since that day she would lock us in there for hours at a time. Our dad was also abusive to us so we were scared to tell him because we knew he would get mad for us talking about his girlfriend that way. We finally told our older cusions and they tried to tell my dad but he just tried to fight them then later would hurt my sister and I. I don't want sympathy because you know what my sister and I are lucky we are still alive today because it could have ended differently for us... like the way it did for little Haleigh. I guess the reason why I wanted to let you know all that is because people in this world do not know how fragile children are and no matter how young just because they are not 18 does not mean they do not know what is going on around them. What needs to change if we do not want to see innocent children killed or abused is LISTEN to them!! I would love to go to college and make a difference but since I must live with the hand I was delt in this life I am one if the unfortunate and will not be able to graduate high school. When I make it back to my home town I plan on taking custody from my aunt of my 16 year old sister so I can give her a chance to live a life where being hit is not the way to show love. My baby sister was also in an abusive relationship for 4 years with a boy who just turned 18. As you can see my sister and I need searious help with our mental state. I know it is going to be hard to take care of my little sister at 18 years old but that is what I need to do to get her away from my biological father and her boyfriend. If anyone can give refrences to colleges, VERY GOOD lawyers, finacial help, mental help...ect. That would be deeply appreciated and possibly life changing for 1 teenage girl to have a better life and another young adult to be happy for the rest of her life knowing she was there for her baby sister. I think misty her brother and her cousin where at the house partying and haleigh got a hold of a pill and took it and died and they all were there so all of them would get in trouble so they got rid of the body becuase she failed the lie detector question when they asked her if joe did it so her and her brother are both trying to blame it on him either way i dont think the whole truth is going to come out because there is no evidence
I wondered if Joe (the cousin) or Tommy Croslin had any criminal background regarding sexual abuse or child abuse? If not, it would be hard to understand what their motive would be.
I believe Leonard Padilla's take on this situation. Something happened accidentally while Misty was watching Haleigh and she called in her family to help get rid of the evidence.
tks nancy, mentioning both haileighs parents was the right thing too do, i think both of haileighs parents, are not the greatest people, but that is happening alot today, kids having kids and the drug use of parents is so sad. but saying that i'm sure both parents loved that beautiful little girl as best they could, and i;m sure they are both heartbroken.
What bothers me about this so called "confession" is that to me it seems to be less of a confession and more like Misty playing "Let's Make a Deal" and if the state agrees to a deal, she'll show them what's behind Door #1. There is no way that there should be any leniency, any deals or any bartering if in fact Misty Croslin was even remotely a part of this horrendous act! I also highly doubt that Misty was ever raped and if she was, well, there's nothing like spreading the joy within one's own family (SIC!) and if she is capable of that then she's capable of anything. This is my scenario – Misty hit Haleigh too hard and she got scared and called her brother Tommy & cousin Joe to help her get rid of the body; she knew Ronald would beat or kill her for what she had done. Haleigh had been abuse by Misty before and she was really jealous of Ronald and his daughter relationship. Misty had the nerves to marry knowing that she knew little Haleigh had died and she could get closer to him, but it backfired on her...Ronald had to know in his gut that Misty knew exactly what had happened. that why he got that divorced from Misty...Misty has a cold heart . She could have called 911...REST IN PEACE – LITTLE HALEIGH....
I night Haliegh went missing, I had a dream of a child floating in water with a cinder block tied to her legs. I pulled her little face towards me & I saw Haliegh's face. I then saw the story on Nancy Grace. I saw the same little face I had seen in my dream. I called the tip line & stated the child could be found in water. I have watched Nancy with interest on this case. Now after all these months I hear they are searching a river for little Haliegh. They are finally on the right track. It's just depressing that the athorities don't believe in dreams or "seers" I live in Idaho, how could I know anything about this case? I hope this all comes to an end soon. I still see Haliegh's little face in my dreams.

The night this happened, on the 911 call Ronald ( ESP ? ) SAID.... somebodys broke into my home and "Stole" my daughter and IF I get to them before you do, Im going to KILL THEM !!! How was he so sure ???? Seems Misty had to tell him something... why would he KNOW those details ?????

Also why did Ronald call Tommy and ask him to go over there???? I do believe they are all involved somehow. The thought of all of them ( Ronald)
include out selling and doing drugs while this poor baby is missing makes me sick. Those kids should have never been in that home to begin with. And as much as I sympothize with the grandmother, she had to know this enviroment was not healthy for her grandchildren.

I think people are stupid to believe either the Cummings or Croslin families. I don't believe for 30 seconds that Haleigh and Junior lived with Ronald and Misty. Ronald worked nights and Misty had been gone for days before this happened? Who watched the kids then? Then again, what children sleep on a matress in their parent's room every night when there are other bedrooms?
I read on another blog that Teresa Neves had paid Misty to babysit that night. I personally believe that Haleigh and Junior both lived with Ronald's grandmother and not Ronald himself.
Sure Ronald loved his kids but he was never a responsible father. He is just as bad as Misty and her family but was lucky enough to have a mother that worked for the sheriff's department that got him out of trouble. He had been arrested more than once in the past but never charged with anything thanks to his mother.
Teresa, you didn't do Haleigh any favors by covering for Ronald. If you had let him suffer the consequences of his previous crimes, maybe Haleigh would still be alive. And YOU should have gone to a judge and got personal custody of Haleigh and Junior since you and the grandmother are the ones that took care of them. What were you teaching those kids by allowing them to stay with a father that had a minor living with him?
This whole situation is very sad and to blame the Croslins for what happened is wrong. Ronald and his mother are just as responsible for what happened to Haleigh as Misty. They might not have been there that night but their actions are what allowed this to happen.
I am just sick with grief to think about what this little girl went through
before she died. Whoever did this to her should get the death
penalty. The authorities will put all this together and Haleigh will
have justice. But what about the next child or the next child or the
next child. Will this ever end. Adults are suppose to protect the

I have followed this story from day 1. I have ALWAYS thought Misty knew something and possibly did it. I feel so sad for Ronald and Crystal as wll as Haleighs other family. But wasn't there a van that was at their house that night that someone said had scrathes that was not there before Haleigh went missing and had been moved, have the police searched that van in connection with this little angels disapperence? And even if Misty didn't kill her she knew about it and i feel she should fry just like the rest, they charged Casey Anthony with 1st degree murder before they found little Caylee, so do the same in this case. Tommy, Joe and MISTY she fry for this that little girl did not deserve this at all.
I have always wondered if Ronald payed more attention to his daughter than the girlfriend. Was she jealous of his daughter. I know that there was a son also, but everyone knows when a man has a daughter that becomes # 1. So I still think that she did not want the little girl in her way to get the father. Also What is the DAD saying about all of this? Filing for DIVORCE yet? Now that the truth is coming out and you do not need your "enemies closer".

I think it is wonderful that Nancy has kept this story alive, I think it probably has a great deal to do with the recent breaks in the case. I am utterly baffled however by her continued support of Ronald Cummings. As far as I am concerned he is more responsible than anyone else for Haleigh's death. He continually put his children in harms way on a daily basis; anyone with a 5th grade education could have predicted that the outcome for his children would have been poor. He did have options, his children were very clearly not his first priority. Yes, he's wailed and carried on after the fact, but still refuses to take any resonsibility, and went right back to the life he was leading before, which resulted in loosing custody of his other child, THANK GOD! I did a better job making sure I left my children with resonsible caretakers the night my husband died. I was in terrible shape and needed so much help myself but I do not come first ever. Why? Because I am a parent, if you cannot understand that and clearly Ronald Cummings and his mother do not , than you are not a parent. My own 5 year old daughter is named Anne Marie, which I recently discovered was Haleigh's middle name. RIP Haleigh.

I don't understand why the police are giving so much credence to this latest Croslin version. It seems a bit odd that Tommy and Misty should both be struck with concience at the same time and call grandma to spill the same story. There are a lot of things that don't mesh. Maybe the police have something believable they aren't talking about. I just hope this whole group of bottom feeders get put away for good for something. Include Ronald with them. Anyone who would be so irresponsible as to leave his children in the care of drug binging trash, and is a user himself, deserves to share in the blame for what happened.
we knew all along that she knows what happened to the sweet little girl! I think she gave her a couple pills to put her to sleep so she could party(another casey anthony) found her dead and had someone help her get rid of Heleigh. One more thought maybe she was having sex with Joe(family or not) Heleigh woke up and they had to make her shut up!!!

In reference to Misty's grandmother's stories last night. When did Misty tell the grandmother what happend? Was it before she went to jail or since? If it was before, why is the grandmother just now saying something. If it has been since she has been in jail, then why haven't we seen the recorded videos of that conversation before hearing it from the grandmother now?

I believe Misty Croslin is the one that killed Haleigh and Misty's brother and cousin got rid of the body. They are all guilty. Makes me sick at the thought of what that baby went thru. I have 4 kids and just can't imagine something or someone hurting any of them. May that little one rest in peace.

I beleive and have from the start that Joe took her that night to get even with Ronald for something he felt ronald owed him.A gun? I think it is really sad for everyone involved and although misty should have done more to help(understatement) I dont think the situation started with her .

I think Ronald has known the entire time that Joe came to steal his gun, for a drug debt Ron owed , but stole his daughter instead. After all, on his 911 call he states to Misty" bitch you let someone STEAL my daughter" . Why would he say his daughter was "stolen", and not taken or kidnapped. More than likely, when he arrived home Misty told him Joe took the child, that would explain her not calling 911 until Ron got home, she wanted to discuss a plan with him first. Ron would not have advised the Police that Joe had the child because he possibly intended to find Joe himself . He stated on the 911 call " ya'll better find him before I do" . Joe came to the resd w/Tommy bagging on the door to collect a debt, then searched the house and took Haleigh.
Proping the back door was a stage by Misty , possibly with the assistance of Ron
Also Ronald married Misty a few months later. Either thinking they could not testify against each other or he married her to stay within the Croslin family and possibly avenge his childs death with Joe after the media took the spot light off story.
Ronald knows much more than he has provided, Joe may have information on Ronald's drug dealing and past crime, that Ron failed to identify Joe as the kidnapper. Tommy and Misty are accomplice to discarding the childs body and witholding evidence.
I also believe Ronald Cummings had no part of his childs death but sadley he is guilty of poor choices. You don't leave a 17 years old addict to keep your babys.All you mothers and fathers out there need to wake up!!! Sadly for Ronald he will pay for his choice all his life and a poor inocent childs life has been once again destroyed by cold hearted monsters. The death penalthy needs to be on the table for this one and MAY GOD HAVE MERCUY ON THEIR SOLES.

Haleigh died at the house either got into drugs, ran over,hit her head etc... they all tried to cover it up because Ron would have went nuts so
they decided to say she was kidnapped.It is probably to late but the van should be checked for residue from the cinder blocks. I put one block in my car trunk and there's still little pieces of concrete back there.They will at least think some of the story is true.These people can't handle
jail and that's why all the finger pointing thinking they might get out of
prison sentence,especially misty that girl would rat out her own mother.

Sorry to be so long but have figured out the cast of characters, I think.
I'm thinking, Bernadine, the HIM Tommy was referring to might have been Misty's other brother, Hank Croslin, Jr. He is the one who supposedly had the alibi (home asleep next to his wife, Lindsey Croslin) as he taken medication due to an accident he'd been involved in earlier.
I'm going to try to research this accident as it, like the laundry, strikes me as fishy. Lindsey is the sister-in-law who Nancy had on last night and the night before, I believe. I couldn't tell who she was married to then as I'd only heard about brother Tommy. Lindsey seemed credible but she sure reminded me a lot of Haleigh's natural mother.
And to repeat, it seems like a strange coincidence that there would be two accidents that night...one involving Hank Jr. and the other Haleigh
Cummings. If I've figured out who's who, Lindsey was saying their truck had been moved from where she'd parked it the night before and the only one who could have done so was Tommy as her husband had been in the accident and was at home asleep. In other words, she was covering for Hank Jr. and pointing the finger at Tommy. She said months ago she noticed scratches on it, like it had been driven through heavy brush.
You point out that Tommy told Misty to do anything "to get us" out of here. Would the "us" have included Ron or just him and Misty? Misty told her mother she still loved Ron so she'd probably do whatever he wanted. The only ones not in custody are cousin Joe and Hank Jr.
Tommy tells Misty to do whatever even if she has to lie....which is the problem. She is really a sophisticated con-artist and not the naive 17 year old she tried to make everyone feel sorry for. I think she whined once that "she was only 17 and to leave her alone." Her actions during that drug bust, walking around with the cigarette dangling from her hand, hanging up posters and lying for over a year are not something innocent 17 year olds do! Cousin Joe looks suspicious to me but taking a child because he couldn't find the gun makes no sense. Why did he want the gun, however and what for? Was the gun properly registered to Ron?

It has become obvious that little Haleigh is deceased. Either she over dosed on a pill she found and died, or was murdered because she saw a sex act between Misty and Joe Overstreet and Haleigh being able to tell her father Ronald about what went on between Misty & Joe, paid the price for this. As noted above, Ron Jr saw someone in dark clothes and saw the couch bouncing up and down.
Ronald Sr surely would have beaten the crap out of Misty and gone after Joe Overstreet since he has a volitale temper.
I do believe Rond didn't know at first what happened to Haleigh, but did know a short time later. Why wasn't he out looking for Heleigh if he thought she was still alive? Why was he sitll with Misty and selling drugs with her if he thought Haleigh was still alive.
I don't understand, If the grandmother knew all along that Haleigh was dead, why didn't she say anything? Shouldn't she be held reliable for this as well as the others? But for conspiracy or accessory to the murder?
Sorry but need to clarify my previous post after doing some research last night. Evidentally, Hank Croslin Jr. is called "Timmy" unless they are two seperate people. Hank Croslin Sr. is the one who was involved in a car accident a couple of days before Haleigh was reported missing (which we know now is a lie). From what I've been able to read in review, Hank Sr. was hit by a drunk driver and hospitalized with a broken leg and perhaps some other injuries.
What seems so odd and confusing to me are Lindsey Croslin's statements about the truck or van. I was wrong in my post above when I said she told Nancy Grace the only person who could have moved the car was Tommy Croslin. She said it was cousin Joe, who was staying with her and her husband during his visit. She stated she'd left the keys out on the kitchen counter and noticed the vehicle wasn't parked where she'd left it and the scratches the next day.
All in all, she was pointing her finger at cousin Joe with the rest of the Croslins and covering for her husband (not sure of his name but think it is Hank Jr. whom they call Timmy?). She stated her husband was home sleeping next to her and then something about he'd taken pills and the car accident was mentioned but I'm still confused about that accident since he was evidentally not involved in it.
She either said, or I read elsewhere, something about they'd gone to the hospital or got a call from the hospital about the same time Haleigh was reported missing.
That is what seems so suspicious to me now in view of what is known. If I'm correct about the accident happening a couple of days earlier, why the sudden need for them to go to the hospital. It would be a way to establish an alibi if they were trying to do that as the hospital probably has documentation or video of them being there, especially outside of normal visiting hours.
Sorry again to be so long and hope I'm not confusing everyone with this.
Forgot to say that IMO Ronald Cummings was throwing out a red herring back when he made the remark that he could get Haleigh back if he had $35,000.00. I think this was about the time Leo Padilla butted in again and that Ronald's statement was designed to throw LE off the track and make everyone think that the alleged kidnapping had something to do with drug dealers.
There was a lot of discussion about that at the time and the thought was Ron could have owed someone all that money and the person took Haleigh in retribution.

My comments are about little Haleigh. From the start I feared that little Haleigh was in the body of water near Ron’s home. Does anyone else remember that on the first day of Haleigh’s disappearance, there was a comment made about the possibility of Haleigh being in the water near Ron’s home? Misty’s comment on that day, regarding this possibility, was that “you do not need to look in that water for Haleigh because she was afraid of that water and would never go near it”. If you think about Misty’s comment that she made, it makes no sense. In making this comment, she is assuming that young little Haleigh was brave enough to go out of the home all alone in the dark of the night. No child Haleigh’s age would have gone out of the home, in the dark, in the middle of the night all alone, while leaving the door propped open too. Never!!!! If I had been Misty, I would have assumed an ungodly evil deed had been done to little Haleigh and I would have begged the authorities to look in that body of water near their home for this little child rather than to say something to steer them away from looking. Now that the river is the suspected place, where Haleigh’s remains are, this makes me wonder if that baby was originally in the body of water near her home and was then later moved by the evil doers to a distant body of water. Has that possibility been researched? There may be evidence in that body of water near Ron’s home too. If it has not been researched yet, then it needs to be, in my opinion.

If you look back at video on Misty's statements in the beginning; she was talking about having to wash blankets. She said she gave Haleigh her blanket because Haleigh's blanket was in the van they took. Has this blanket ever been found?

That precious child should've never been left alone in the hands of Misty being only 17 years old at the time, this is an age most teenagers are trying drugs. This family seems to really be enjoying their 15 min. Grandma is on JVM right now. Hair all died and lots of make up on She keeps stressing that Haleigh might have gotten her hands on one of Ron's pills. What makes her think it wasn't Misty's pill. I hope this ends soon for Ron, Teresa and Crystal. They need answers now. I have six grandchildren and cannot even to begin to think of how I would react to such a horrible act against one of them. We should continue to pray for Haleigh and her family. I still don't think Joe had anything to do with it.

I have been watching the case un fold and as i've seen Misty , and her brother, thay have looked guity even in the court room were her brother was in attendence. he looked at his sister in discussed becsaue he knows he don't want to be there found in the situation that he been implcated in.
