Primetime exclusive tonight: Joe Vega, a close family friend of missing 6-year-old Isabel Celis' family speaks out regarding the newly released 911 calls and Isabel's dad being barred from seeing his family.

Police are desperately searching for a missing 7 year old Portland, Oregon boy, last seen walking down the hallway at his school…just feet from his second grade classroom. Cops say Kyron Horman’s stepmother last saw him just before 9am after taking him to the school to show his science fair project. A photo taken by the stepmother that morning shows Kyron in front of his project, a diorama on red tree frogs.
After the science fair, the stepmother says she watched Kyron walk towards his classroom, which is reportedly 150 feet away…that was the last time anyone saw Kyron. Police did not become aware of the disappearance until almost 4pm, when Kyron’s stepmother called the school when Kyron did not get off the school bus at about 3:30pm. Kyron’s stepmother called the school, who then contacted authorities. School officials tell us Kyron was marked absent at the start of the school day, but they did not have a system to immediately notify the parents of an absence…a policy that has since been changed.
Initially Kyron Horman’s case was listed as “endangered missing” but is now being called a criminal investigation. Police have not said why the status of the case has changed, and refuse to give a detailed timeline about the day Kyron went missing, citing a pending investigation. Police have reportedly said they believe Kyron’s case is isolated and there is “no reason to believe that kids are in any danger.” Meanwhile, the search effort continues, with divers focusing on an island in the Portland area. Divers have been seen wading in waist-high water on Sauvie Island, while officials on the shore were providing directions to the divers. Since Thursday, searchers have been looking at that island, with men on horseback, on foot, and in helicopters. Police will not say what led them to this island, which is about 6 miles from the school where Kyron was last seen.
New Transcripts: Joran van der Sloot’s Graphic Alleged Confession to Murder
For the first time, we’ve learned the gruesome details of Stephany Tatiana Flores’ final moments…and it’s allegedly from Joran van der Sloot’s own mouth. A source confirms van der Sloot confessed he attacked Flores May 30, elbowing her in the nose, strangling her neck with his hands, and then suffocating her with his own shirt until her last breath, according to police transcripts of the confession obtained by CNN. Van der Sloot described a bloody crime scene, saying there was blood everywhere, including on his shirt and the bed.
After Flores was dead, van der Sloot says he thought about getting rid of her body, but only considered it for a moment, but fled the room, saying there was “too much blood.” The Dutchman says he left the crime scene, stealing Flores’ money and then her car. He considered catching a flight, but deciding against it, van der Sloot made his way into a taxi and eventually on to Chile. He claims when he got there, Chile he saw his photo in the newspaper, accused of murder. Van der Sloot says he decided to turn himself in to Chilean authorities.
And now we learn van der Sloot claims he’s willing to talk about the Natalee Holloway case, reportedly making an offer to give up the location of Holloway’s body in exchange for being sent to an Aruban prison. Reports are van der Sloot, currently in isolation at one of the most notorious prisons in Peru, is in fear for his life. Prison conditions at Castro-Castro are said to be filthy, overcrowded and harsh. The 22-year-old murder suspect is in a high security area with 24/7 protection, sharing TV time with a high profile Colombian alleged hit man. Van der Sloot’s only visitor has been his lawyer, Maximo Altez, who just resigned stating “this has created many problems for me”. Van der Sloot is set for a psychological evaluation and could be integrated with other prisoners soon. Now that van der Sloot has seen what he’s up against, is he set to confess to Natalee Holloway’s murder?
