Nancy, the outcome seems good for this young woman. However, the father's tone and strangeness in your interview tonight suggests more. Was this girl abused in her home? Was she looking for a hideout or a way to leave a a bad parental environment? Was this girl looking for a way out? Did your show look at this before assuming any sad parent really is doing the right thing?
Let's face it, there are many cases of parent or family abuse that cause kids to run and hide. Is there a medical consult that your show looks at when you bring guests on?
as a parent. the kids have more rights than the adults. i am glad they found this girl. my son is a run away and we can not do any thing to bring him home. the last time he was home ii was arrested for restraining him after he attacked us. we are told as of january the laws have changed and the are no longer aloud to detain kids. so they turn him back over too us and he runs again. thank you law makers for taking our parenting rights away. i hope this girl learns some thing from this.
