Van der Sloot to Peruvian Appellate Judges: Toss My Murder Confession
He confessed to killing American girl, Natalee Holloway, during her high school senior trip to Aruba back in 2005. Some of his so-called confession was even caught on tape. But the confession just couldn’t or wouldn’t stick.
Joran van der Sloot managed to recant his confessions, walk scot-free, never facing charges in the death of Natalee Holloway. But now after allegedly confessing to the murder of another young girl, this time in Peru, will van der Sloot’s confession finally stick?
According to Peruvian authorities, van der Sloot confessed to the brutal murder of Stephany Tatiana Flores after meeting her at a Lima casino in May. Now van der Sloot says he wants the alleged confession thrown out. Already denied by a Peruvian judge, van der Sloot’s new attorney has taken the case to a three-judge appellate panel. Translation? Joran van der Sloot’s murder trial is officially on hold. Van der Sloot wants his so-called confession tossed not because he’s insisting he didn’t kill Stephany Flores, but because of claims he did not have an official translator or proper legal representation at the time.
Van der Sloot also claims his laptop was improperly searched. Although van der Sloot is claiming his constitutional rights were violated, the Peruvian judge who ruled against the initial appeal says the jailed Dutchman had a translator during three police depositions and his laptop was sealed as soon as it was delivered to the court. With the three-judge panel set to rule at any moment, will van der Sloot get away with yet another confession? He might manage to get away with a confession, but this time van der Sloot’s battling a treasure trove of forensic evidence Peruvian prosecutors appear to have on their side.

Do not know enough about this case regarding him. I have been pre-occupied with the concerns here in America. I have some friends that trekked over in Peru or it could have been another country. Peru looks like a wonderful country to do hiking. I love hiking and sometimes I receive Hiking books for gifts. Though I have not quite strayed out of CA and the NW to do any hiking. Perhaps I will consider it later.
The face of the Devil himself! Just imagine meeting this man alone in the dark....it is enough for anyone to die of fright.
If his confession is tossed out, rest assured, he will be incarcerated for life. Of course he won't last one month in the general population of the prison in Peru due to his monstrous crime against a young innocent girl, the daughter of a prominent citizen of Peru.
This ruthless sociopath does not deserve to have a grain of sympathy for all his heinous crimes. I hope authorities will trace his travels and investigate all missing young girls. Vander-slut is a remorseless serial killer. I hope he gets his just dessert in the prison.

If this guy is allowed to get out of prison, this will be a huge miscarriage of justice for both of these family. If he walks.What and Who will stop Stephanie's family from getting to him before he is released? after all he does work closely with the police in Peru.And it would be an insanity plea at least temporarily.Who would'nt let anyone of her family members off.The World would be a safer place.
If by some Minuit,chance that Van Der Sloot is released,I doubt he would make it out of Peru alive. Unless he traveled heavily guarded,he would not make it back to Aruba in one piece! That's just my opinion.
Joran van der Sloot will do his utmost to get out of jail and not be tried for the murder of Stefany. His lawyer will also try to have him released.
Joran is a big time liar. I cannot believe that he may be released. Released to where? Back to his country? If so, he will never be tried for this murder.
If he is released, the authorities better protect him. Otherwise, someone will make him pay for the life of Stefany and also Natalie. Time will take care of him. What goes around comes around in time. Justice must and will prevail.

Why did the authorities in Peru decline to have JVS conduct a "walk through" of the crime and video tape it as was originally suggested following his capture and confession?

Love ya! Now if Vander Slug walks I say he should be made to walk down an alley of women who were raped, beaten and abused. Let them get some closure and let this slug get what he deserves! I'm willing to bet Justice will be served! And if no women will come forward to line up in the alley you can bet there sure are enough real men left who would line up in the alley for all those women who need someone to speak for them and defend them. Lets see this slug walk with the rest of the world looking for him, he wont walk far or for long!

In regard to Joran VDS – in the video as he exits his hotel room with coffee and Danish, he closes the door and turns to his left (away from the door). As he turns, he takes a big gulp – you can see his Adam's apple move, almost like he is gearing up for what is coming, or summoning the courage to do whatever is next....

In regard to Joran Van Der Sloot being allowed to "walk again", I have an idea..let the world know just where and when he will be released! I have a few friends that are big supporters of the NRA!
If Joran is released, they might as well forget about justice for either family–Natalee's OR Stephany's. Because Joran will run like the scared rabbit he is, and hide out in some country with no extradition treaty with either Peru or the US. Well, Joran, you can run but you can't hide. Ever hear of KARMA??? It'll get you. Sooner or later, Justice WILL catch up with you and YOU WILL PAY for your crimes. Either in this world, or the next, or I HOPE–BOTH!!! And if Peruvian authorities let him go, they too will have blood on their hands, because I can promise you, if Joran is ever free again, there WILL BE more murders of innocent young woman. Because Joran is a sociopath, a predator, and killing is his game. Reguarding the Cheerleader, she is only 14 why is she out until midnight. The parents hould of picked her up at this party. The parents also should of called to verify that she indeed was going to a party. Even the best kids will fib every now and then, especially if they want to do something that is not allowed or approved by their parents.
People have to really wake up, don't just assume your kids are always honest. Saving a childs life and keeping them from making a mistake is more important than any thing else. Their are a lot of petifiles out their . These people go to prison serve time and come out making you serve time killing our children. I think they should never be allowed to get out. The system will put a person in prison for life if they kill some one,but a petifile will go to prison and keep getting out. This I dont understand a death is a dealth. The system convict people with no DNA or no other concrete evidence. A known Petafile can keep on,keeping on. Parentas are left to grieve the rest of their life.

Nancy what is wrong with the judge giving a Father custody of his child and is a know petafile. I think when a judge makes a decison like this he should be held responsible like every one else. Just because a JUDGE has the power to execute decisions should not exempt one from responsibility of making the right decison for a child.

I will be highly disappointed if the let the menace to society walk free. He is a sick individual. I am disgusted by him. He needs to rot in jail. No one needs slip up on this case. He doesn't need any breaks. This man is greedy, selfish psycopath. I'm going to let the women get off too easily either. Parents, teach your childer to be cautious and not go anywhere whith anyone. Stay away from strangers! They should have never been left alone. Bad things sometimes happen when you are doing wrong and not being alert for crazy people. Joran Var der Sloot is a series killer of young girls and he need to pay with his life as well, because he killed those 2 young ladies for know reason what so ever. my sister-in-law was murdered. she was shot in cold blood while her back was turned , then shot in the head . she was put in the trunk of her car and left out in a field behind her house .her killer was convicted and sentenced to prison.....where he was stabbed to death by another inmate a few years later . that my friends is justice. i'm sure that van der sloot will receive the same. trust me , her father is a powerful man. i can assure you this matter will be handled properly.

For those of you that think this Van Der Sloot guy is evil- you don't even know the half of it. Go read the Wikipedia article on this guy. Pretty scary and infuriating. He has been involved in nearly every form of weird, cruel, and inhumane crime in the books, and has walked scott-free in every instance. His parents, who are both rich personages, have been empowering him since he was a small child, often laughing off acusations from law enforcement that their child is a monster. He was involved in human trafficking and child prostitution in Thailand, this episode with the Halloways in Aruba, now this. He was involved in llots more too– go read up but be prepared to be horrifed and enraged by the fact this scum has gotten away with this kind of crap for so long.
Trust me, even if his confession is thrown out, they still have a load if evidence. I think the PNP will make sure , that they have everything in check this time, for another interrogation. If he was able to taste freedom for a few hours...he would only have a few seconds, as I believe there would be someone waiting and wanting to get rid of him. Plus Interpol, and U.S. Marshal's would be there to take him to Alabama for the extortion charges! Joran isn't going anywhere folks. I am pretty sure he will never make it out of Peru alive! I think this appeal is just going to piss of certian people, and the will probably just put him in General Pop sooner.

If he doesn admitt and it does go to trial and let's say he claims insanity and gets off light. The one law i don't like is the insanity law. Most people kill, because they are insane. They cannot let go or accept something, as a result, they kill. If a person cannot let go of something, please go vist a doctor to help. There is no shame in going to get professional help if a person has a problem. WHen their thought consumes them to kill, its too late.
I will teach my son this, if a girl doesn't like you in that way, don't force. If the girl breaks up with you, just let her go. Don't use anything for leverage, just let her be.
If I have a girl, and a boy bothers her. I will give her money to go far away. I will get a restraining order and move her to the other side of the country if I had to. If people don't let go, man or a woman, they are obsessed. The person who doen't let go, is weak on the inside. If one person wants to leave, the other person has to let go too. If they become obsessed, then it could to lead to violence.
Never ever use things for a leverage. What I mean by leaverage is, your professional career, things have, and things you have done. If you do things to impress someone, you can be setting yourself up for failure. Just move on with your life.

Both of these families need closure and deserve justice for their daughters' deaths. This young man may be guilty of other crimes in other countries as well. Could he be a serial killer? Hi Nancy. Got to thinking about Sylar, the little boy they found dead. I was just thinking, did any one at that campsite see Sylar other than the family? Never heard. If he wasn't seen by anyone else was he really there at all? Could they have done something to him before arriving and disposed of his body then came to the campground saying he was there? I thought I heard them say at one time they found his shoe prints outside the tent for a way. Doesn't seem reasonable a 2yr old would just have on a diaper and put on his shoes? They, someone could made the prints with his shoes. Most children that age usually get shoes on wrong feet. Maybe I missed these things. Just a thought. Sondra

Jordan now says that his confession he wants thrown out,thats only because in his confession their is some truth, he cant accept the truth . Alot of evidence is there, DNA on his clothes, on camera walking out of the hotel room with 2 coffees and pretending to be knocking on the door, as he is looking around to see if anyone is in the hallway to make it look like he was entering the room with the coffees. He was hoping that the maid,when she opened the door would spot the body laying there,and scream,and that would of cleared him,cause he wasnt there.But Suprise,cameras were on him. how much more evidence do the need ?

Serial killer cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer of Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA was killed by a fellow inmate. I often wonder what if all these serial killers are grouped together. No rules to be followed which means they can kill each other without any added punishment because they are on death row or on life sentence anyway. Would they behave like humans or more like wild animals ?
These cases to me are weird because different countries have different rules & I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he walks. They make criminals walk away to easy especially killers. Now if they do other crimes theft or whatever, in different countries will get 5 or more years for that. I hope to goodness the judges throw out confession, from what im reading about the Flores family is they want the confession throwen out . Mr. Flores wants to know exactly what happened that morning, Joran is claiming he didnt kill the girl, just that not the way it was described in the first confession. Either way we yall know he will be spending a very long time behind bars in Peru and the U.S.A. So sit back and enjoy the show, I find it very interesting!
Beth Hollaway doesnt want to kill Joran or even have him killed. This lady herself isnt truely sure Joran had anything to do with her daughters disappearance. Thats why she cant get around him to look at other possiblities that could had happened to her daughter. Believe me I do feel sad for Ms. Beth, but she needs to look past Joran ,also. I know yall have seen the movie Taken, who is to say Joran didnt leave the girl on the beach that night and someone else seen the easy prey. We dont know, we just dont know.
